Our Practice
At Cowra Dental Group our Surgery is modern and purpose built with the latest hygiene and sterilising equipment, Digital X-Rays and Hi-caps.
We have completed an Accreditation Process to ensure we are operating at the highest level of infection control. This ensures we stay up to date with the latest practice and sterilizing techniques
The cost of an initial consultation may vary depending on the need for x-rays. Cleaning may also be needed during the first appointment. When making your appointment or talking with the dentist and hygienist please feel free to ask about the cost of a procedure or request a written quote for work required.

Dr William Edmeades
Principal Dentist
BDS (London), PGCert Implant Dentistry, PGCert Advanced Restorative.
Dr William Edmeades is a highly experienced and widely skilled dentist with over 20 years of clinical experience in both Australia and overseas. Originally trained in London, William holds postgraduate qualifications in implant dentistry, advanced restorative techniques, and orthodontics, with further training completed in Scotland and at the University of Sydney.
William’s career has taken him across a broad range of settings – from leading cosmetic and implant clinics in the UK, to oral surgery in hospital settings, to delivering vital care in remote African communities. His diverse background includes experience with complex procedures such as skin grafts, bone augmentation, facial trauma and full-mouth rehabilitation, as well as preventive family dentistry.
With a strong focus on personalised and preventative care, William takes time to understand each patient’s individual goals, habits and health history. He believes in working in partnership with his patients, offering options and guiding them towards the best outcomes for both their oral health and overall wellbeing. His wide-ranging skill set means he can provide everything from routine check-ups and cleans to advanced implant surgery and cosmetic work, all under one roof.
William’s clinical interests include:

Outside of dentistry, William is a lifelong learner with a curious, hands-on nature – equally comfortable building things, camping in the bush, or working on the family property. He and his wife Paola have a young daughter who shares their love for the outdoors, along with a growing collection of animals including two dogs, several horses and a chook named Chelsea (the family favourite).
Currently building a straw bale home on their acreage, William enjoys life in the country and values the connection and balance that come with it. He’s recently taken up the fiddle, and is always on the lookout for local food spots and hidden gems to explore.
Approachable, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to delivering high-quality dental care, Dr Edmeades brings a calm and thoughtful presence to Cowra Dental Group – along with a genuine passion for helping people improve their oral health with confidence.
Dr Beatriz Bravo
Associate Dentist

Dr Beatriz Bravo is a skilled and compassionate clinician who brings international training, technical precision and a strong patient-first approach to Cowra Dental Group. Originally trained in Venezuela, Beatriz graduated with her dental degree in 2016 and relocated to Australia later that year in pursuit of a more stable and fulfilling future.
Since arriving, she has worked continuously in the dental field while undertaking the extensive qualification process required to practise in Australia—an achievement she proudly completed in 2024. During this time, Beatriz honed her clinical skills across a range of practices and built a strong professional partnership with Dr William Edmeades, which began in 2019.
Beatriz is particularly interested in oral surgery and periodontics, areas where she combines her love of precision with a deep commitment to long-term patient outcomes. Whether treating gum disease, performing surgical extractions, or supporting patients through complex treatment plans, she focuses on providing high-quality care with a calm, empathetic manner.
Her approach to dentistry is grounded in trust, transparency and education. “My goal is to make every patient feel safe, informed and in control,” she says. “I believe in guiding, not pressuring—especially when it comes to patients who are anxious or unsure about treatment.”
Beatriz is passionate about delivering care that goes beyond the clinical—supporting patients not just with their immediate needs, but with a focus on prevention, personalisation and building confidence in their oral health. She brings particular strength in communicating clearly with patients and helping them feel at ease during every step of their visit.
Outside the practice, Beatriz enjoys a quiet, outdoorsy lifestyle with her partner and their cocker spaniel puppy, Alejandro. They recently relocated to Cowra together and are enjoying the open spaces, peaceful pace, and warm welcome from the community. Beatriz stays active with running and gym training, and is always on the lookout for new local spots to explore—especially if good food or puppy adventures are involved.
Beatriz is proud to be part of the Cowra Dental Group team and looks forward to building long-term relationships with patients and becoming a familiar face in the community.
